4. Adding the Faults

  1. Click on the schematic window. The border will be highlighted blue. From the Edit menu, select Edit>Select>All>Nets. All of the nets should be selected as shown in Figure 9. You can see the total count of the nets by selecting SELECT COUNTS from the setup palette icon. It will show the number of nets selected at the bottom of the session window. At the bottom of the window, you should see the line, 156 Faults added; 16 FDB already in database.

  1. Now add the the faults by choosing FAULT from the top of the setup palette. Once you are in the fault palette select the ADD FAULTS option from the palette. A dialog box will appear as shown in Figure 10. Select both the stuck at 1 faults and stuck at 0 faults by selecting the BOTH option and make sure that Selected Objects is selected. Then click on OK.

  1. From the palette menu, click on UNSELECT ALL. All of the nets should go back to their normal appearance.
